Ya Rasulullah, he is yours.
Said of Yasar, the Abyssinian slave he had just captured, offering him to the Prophet ﷺ.
~Seven days after Badr, Ramadan 2 AH (c. 624 CE) · 2 AH
The Battle of Badr forced the Quraysh trade caravans onto new routes, which cut off the business of some neighbouring tribes. Only seven days after Badr, the Banu Salim and the large tribe of Ghatafan sent a raiding party of about 200 men to attack Madinah in revenge.
When the Prophet ﷺ heard of this, he marched out against them. Although they outnumbered the Muslims, the raiders fled when they saw them coming. They left behind their tents, belongings and animals. The spoils were so large that every Muslim who took part is said to have received two camels. The Prophet ﷺ then camped there for three days, as was his practice after a battle.
The first person the Muslims captured was an Abyssinian slave named Yasar. After some time he became a Muslim, and the man who captured him gave him to the Prophet ﷺ, who freed him. Yasar chose to stay on as one of the Prophet ﷺ's servants.
Outcome: The Muslims returned to Madinah with a large surplus of captured animals and no casualties.
The Prophet ﷺ explained the pagans' flight by saying (in Sahih al-Bukhari): "I have been helped by Allah that my enemies are terrified of me even if I am at a month's journey away."

Ya Rasulullah, he is yours.
Said of Yasar, the Abyssinian slave he had just captured, offering him to the Prophet ﷺ.
Freed today by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I have chosen to stay at his side as his servant.
I have been helped by Allah that my enemies are terrified of me even if I am at a month's journey away.
