~Some years after Amr ibn al-As RA's conversion
Amr ibn al-As RA found the Prophet ﷺ so gentle and kind toward him that he believed he was the Prophet ﷺ's favorite. So one day he asked the Prophet ﷺ who he loved most. The Prophet ﷺ answered at once, "Aisha." Amr said he meant among the men. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Her father." Amr asked who came after him, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "Umar." Amr kept asking until he understood that his own name was not coming, and then he stopped.
Shows that the Prophet ﷺ's kindness made everyone who knew him feel they were the one he loved most.
