The Muslim army set out from Madinah for the Conquest of Makkah. Barely two days into the march, at the valley of Juhfa, they met al-Abbas ibn Abdul Muttalib RA, the uncle of the Prophet ﷺ, travelling the other way. He had left Makkah with his family to make hijrah to Madinah, with no idea that the conquest was already under way.
Allah granted al-Abbas RA and his household the honor of being the last people ever to emigrate for the sake of Allah, since there is no Hijrah after the Conquest.
